		<description>How do we pay for this party indeed, Lou. Perhaps something emerges from primordial ooze, if you will, driven by a simple passion. Like Scobel or Malik, maybe someone will emerge dragging an expansive audience with him or her. I think you still need a day job in the early days though. 
But to your bigger point, did you listen by the Fresh Air segment with Alex Jones (ex-NY Times)?

		<description>One possibility is niche journalists who actually cover the issues, which is what I&#039;ve been trying to do with New Tech Press.  I&#039;m not an engineer, nor do I try to play one on TV. There are lots of good engineers still writing, like Wilson and Day, about engineering issues, but the market still needs guys like us, B, looking at the things being overlooked... like how we pay for this party.</description>
