		<description>You can&#039;t, which is the problem, right? It&#039;s all well and good that people and companies can be their own publishers, but they&#039;re all self-interested at the end of the day. &lt;br/&gt;Even with its various biases, a newspaper doesn&#039;t exist without having some measure of independence and insight. Reporters are held in check because they have to put food on their tables by being observers as opposed to partisans.&lt;br/&gt;Unfortunately, too many papers have become too partisan in the past 20 years. That&#039;s why they&#039;re losing circulation. &lt;br/&gt;IMHO.</description>

And they are right, no one will ever achieve what the Rocky Mountain News did on a daily basis. How do you replicate that zeal for quality journalism on a medium that is as short-sighted and opinionated as the Internet? I&#039;m floored by the man-on the street comment, &quot;You won&#039;t miss it till it&#039;s gone.&quot;  So true...</description>
