Perhaps because the rest of the paper is so good, I expect, or hope, for greater thought from the editorial page.<br/><br/>Still, they are excellent at compartmentalizing the opinion section, so the rest of the paper never suffers.<br/><br/>I like the New York Times too, but I think they do a pretty crappy job of keeping their opinions out of the news.
