CMP Media CEO watch
Posted on | February 11, 2008 | No Comments
This is the week that CMP’s expected to name a new CEO to replace Steve Weitzner, who went to Ziff Davis Enterprise earlier this year. We reported earlier that electronics group chief Paul Miller, my former boss, jetted to London two weeks ago with other CEO short-listers. I’ve reached out to Paul a couple of times and gotten no response yet, despite various attempts at wit on my part. Miller returned stateside last Thursday, but sources inside the company last week report no unusual rumblings (or even a timing of the announcement, although earlier it was reported to be the second week in February).
Meanwhile, Media Wire Daily floats a rumor that Ted Bahr (CMP and Miller Freeman heritage) might be in the running.
(Now late word from a source that the CMP announcement may be another 10 days. Trying to get a confirmation on that).
