Waiting for the Mitchell Report

Fewer than three hours until the long-awaited, much-speculated-upon Mitchell Report on steroid use in baseball comes out. It promises to be vastly entertaining. More than 60 players are expected to be named. I’m sure we won’t be surprised. All surprise went out of it when Mattie Williams’ name came up recently.
Well, I’ll hold off on the bluster until the report comes out. Here’s hoping it forces Bud Selig to resign.

    Here’s a shocker – It will be a bloodbath. Watch the MLBPA, and to a lesser extent Bud Selig dig in and deny, obfuscate, deny, question sources, deny, claim invasion of privacy, deny, repeat.

    Now would be a GREAT time to admit, clean up, and move on – just like any decent crisis management PR firm would tell you. This has gone on long enough.
