Another editor leaves CMP

The dust seemed to have settled but then again not in the electronics industry. Word comes this week that Rob Keenan, who ran the CMP Electronics Group’s Tech OnLine editorial properties for a time and build out a lot of great vertical communities, has moved on.
Rob confirmed he’s moving to a job closer to home in New Jersey. It’s a publishing gig where he’s helping build out all things digital.
No word yet on a replacement for Rob, who was running the RFID business until he left.
And tonight, CMP’s Paul Miller will stand before the industry group EDAC, where members are a little concerned that EE Times let Richard Goering go and outsourced EDA coverage.
Here’s hoping Paul’s first words to the group are: “Hey, you make your bed, you sleeps in it.”
Watch for follow up coverage tomorrow! Lou Covey will be there I know, and being the former news guy he is will surely post about it.
