Brian Fuller’s blog on the state of media and communications

Takes two to tango

Posted on | March 23, 2007 | No Comments

Kudos today to David Lazarus, columnist in the S.F. Chronicle’s business section. He wrote a recent column in which he wrote about the importance of old-media content. Then he took a bunch of crap from the blogosphere on it. (He published some of those comments today). The bloggers, at least the ones who got their backs up, don’t seem to get the irony that they’re getting upset that they live off: old media content. Plus, while bloggers may be down on old media and old media thinking, no one, and I mean no one, has a robust blogger business model. Google ads ain’t the answer, at least right now.
So, as we say on the shrink’s couch, we all got issues.
